Instrument Society of India (ISOI) was initially established in the year 1970 with its headquarters at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. From the inception, ISOI student chapter has been organizing various informative and interactive activities, including a technical quiz, lectures, etc. by various eminent Industrialists. We strive to evoke technical curiosity among our members and contribute our portion in making as much awareness as possible in the Instrumentation domain.
ISOI team consisting of approx 100 members, has worked to organise various events during technical fest ‘Gravitas’ and cultural fest ‘Riviera’. We have organized events like ‘IoT Mania’ and ‘Be like an Engineer’ in which we conducted interactive sessions on the basics of the breadboard and various sensors followed by competition rounds to test the learning of participants. ‘Blue Print’ is our 3-day flagship event in which various industry experts give us some insights on topics like 3D printing, Cloud and DevOps, etc. The technical team of ISOI having two domains- hardware and software, work constantly in creating prototypes of instruments which mainly have some large scale applications.
We at ISOI have the vision to create awareness about the Instrumentation department’s technical aspects and come up with some prototypes which might help the society in some way.
